On the Inside

The walls are thin and the timing off, together a team to try and teach. Some of these kids should be getting college credits! Serving a mighty King, with honor and joy...but boy oh boy...this will be a long haul! Good thing I have been set free!

We had VBS las week and that was awesome. The kids would check in their rooms and everyone was safe and accounted for, I could grab a cup of coffee. I was leading preschool music, lots of fun! Thanks to those of you sharing your beautiful kids with me. Unfortunately, that is not the department to practice perfectionism, so right up my alley! Got to be a long week but the start of onditioning my baby that she can survive without touching mommy. Totally getting a massage this week though, with all those upper body motions for the songs and sleeping with Lillie crooked in my arms night after night, among other stressors...I need it!

First day of the rest of our lives

And it wouldn't matter any other way.
Tears for him and us.
Whoever found offense in confidentiality, shouldn't care about my story.
My life and my children's lives are a living sacrifice to what is true.
Family is worth it.
Just today word of extended family with a couple neglected little kids going to their parent's first spouses home. A grandparent here for her x husbands kids, that sounds springer style! A 2 1/2 year old being give up by a young single mom because times got tough. That coach adopting a kid or kids only to be abusing them. My heart is pained for abused children. Seriously, such sadness and pains we are living. I guess God has a plan, but I just don't get why some people get to have kids! To sanctify me? I can't take them all. I want a revolution though, I want to see people get it of their comfort zone and wake up, step up, and make what's right here, there, everywhere. What keeps you from fighting the good fight and making a difference?

Create in me a clean heart oh God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
Oh yeah, keep us safe in this transition too.

Operation Closet Day

Family Nesting?
I have so far done my upstairs bathroom cupboards, with yet to designate in bags for donation, keep, use. I am constantly trying to analyze if I have my things organized most practical, like where to store things. In this phase of my life, I don't know how you crafters, scrapbookers, and everybody but me (okay that's a little harsh,) get a chance to do projects! Mine are good ideas all binned up waiting to go! I am going to try and have some activities with the kids to actually implement all my genius ideas to reuse and recycle.

How does everyone do it? How do you organize some of these things?! Like your kids clothes and seasons and to grow into, where do the pjs go, or socks, underware, swim suits. Folded in drawers, in closets hung...how do you decide? Hypothetically speaking (hehe here are my analytic terms!) if you were to crunch 3 wardrobes into one typical bedroom setting, how would you do it?

Lonely

Collecting toys, dirty unseen.
Haunted by the empty house, memories of motherhood only good.
No recollection of responsibility, no understanding of mentality.
Can read the writing on the wall, can't stop in time to catch her fall.
Poisoned by generational curse, childhood abuse, got hit by a bus.
It never came and got her.
Common sense a sting on a kite.
Cleanliness a star in the night.
Perception is vague, reality skewed.
Kept having babies cuz they were cute.
Didn't know any better, but why did he chose her?
Years of asbestos exposure or alcohol abuse?
Slid into denial their lives were normal.
Dirty, scared, hungry, dirty, scared, hungry.
Services came and purpose to help.
Too far gone and no cooperation.
That's how government decides a family no more.
With two previous ones the wives chose the kids.
This one's a kid herself and they both lose six kids.
Angry, sad, quiet. Angry, sad, quiet.
Never a job, never could drive, depending on abuse and lies.
Widowed so young she was half his age.
Tears in the night in her empty cage.
Vulnerability shines like the moon.
Hard to break free from the cocoon.
Why given light and nothing to pop, why all the pain?
Free yourself and brush off your wings, life is hear, it's what it brings.
Not your fault, and certainly not mine.
I'm doing my best and serving your time.
Don't kill the messenger, don't bite the hand that feeds you, look before you cross the street.
Fully rely on God. Seek Christ and his plan for you.
Never forget but keep the bus moving.

Happy Birthday Adam!!!

Happy Birthday Adam!!
Sixteen and never been sweeter;)
Wow, crazy to have a sixteen year old! He took drivers ed with school first semester and learned lots of safety and road rules; however, will stick to back seat driving! He is looking forward to taking the 4-wheeler test this summer though, as he might enjoy driving around legally. He only drives that about 9 miles an hour though, so luckily he has never bucked Luke off! Adam is a generous and thoughtful boy. We are glad he can take his first garage class next year, he has a natural knack for mechanics. He will be working VBS again this year too in the kitchen, his favorite station! Someday he'll be baking me a double layer chocolate cake!! Happy birthday, son, we love you and cherish you. May the Lord guide your year and hold you close as you continue into life and learning! Happy Birthday Adam!!

Happy Birthday Reany!!

Reany turned 9 on May 5th!! The lovely tatoo was her doing at family fun night, her choice to celebrate the night before her birthday. She is growing up too quick!! It is so amazing to watch her grow and succeed. Virtual twins, her and Libby have been together since 18 months and it is incredible to witness their love for each other, their bond and communication is really neat. Reany is an all star athlete! She is becoming so responsible, the other day we had a really late night and I hadn't told the kids but I was planning on bringing them to school, she got up on her own and was waiting for the bus when I got up to cancel the ride! I guess she is college bound! Yea!! She is a delightful and beautiful girl we are blessed to parent. Reany, may the Lord bless you and keep you all the year through and show you great things in the year to come!
