Mommy Chronicles

ADAM is now 24. He has worked at the travel plaza as a dishwasher for many years. He continues to be an avid biker, putting on hundreds of miles a year (like 500+!) He enjoys music, talking on the phone to friends, and playing some video games.

DAVID is now 22! He has been working at the Coborns Deli for about a year, after being a bagger there for a few years. He would like to take some time off now as the COVID19 mask orders are driving him nuts! He likes to go fishing and biking with his friends. He enjoys tinkering and fixing phones, watching videos, and playing softball with friends.

MATTHEW is now 20! He has one year left to complete the distric transition program. He is also a dishwasher for the travel plaza. When the 2 work together I am sure it is a constant conversation;) Matthew is great with engines and always loves helping with the yard and chickens.

JACK is 17, he will be with us 4 years this July. He nearly immediatly went from a level 4 IEP (theraputic school setting) to a level 2 (mainstream with some support.) He has 2 jobs, lifeguarding at BCC and cooking at Taco Gringo in town. He is a hard worker and we hope to visit Guatemala after graduation next year together.

LIBBY is also 17! She made the President's List (4.0) the whole year going to the Tech College, she will earn her AA with her high school diploma next spring. She nannies and works as support staff. She broke her collarbone long boarding last summer, but hasn't given it up...what a rockstar!

REANY is also 17! Seventeen is such a great year! Reany enjoys homeschooling so she can have flexibiity to go horseback riding and help at the farm she rides at. She is a master dog trainer, and has taught Yonnie many tricks. She also does a great job braiding and painting nails, the little girls are grateful!

NOAH is now 12! He wrapped up his wrestling season early with some neck issues, little did he know the entire world would shut down and not get to finish the season, thanks to COVID19. He finished the year at Granite City Baptist Academy where he loved all their sports and fun with his best buds! He is close to a pro fisherman and wants to be a bushcraft, skinning squirrels quickly before church on a given Sunday morning.

NAOMI is now 10! Double digits fits her well, she is the best little organizer and loves to clean and makeover her room often. She got a cute little puppy, Luna, who is sweetly obsessed with her. She continues to be very artistic and makes a variety of amazing work, a favorite this winter was she crafted a snowman from a melted tootsie roll...endless creativity!

LILLIE is now 8! She is enjoying her summer and adored her 2nd grade teacher, Pr.Enrique from Spain. She is a talkative and delightful girl, quick to help and befriend all. Her and Reany got baptized this spring, that was awesome! Lillie is looking for an Amish boy her age, as she wants to marry into the Amish community;)

JOJO just turned 6! She is going on 24 and enjoys being in charge. She actually said she wants to be a police officer when she grows up. Why? "So I can control people." Wow from the mouth of the babe. Very smart, fierce, thoughtful, and confident for being the baby! She is hoping to not return to school this fall and is content spending every waking moment with mom. I am that cool.

LEXI and her boyfriend Greg had a beautiful baby boy,  Zaiden Luke,  Aug. 28 2019. She has been able to stay home and does some support staff work. Zaiden's favorite food right now is bananas, he has done great at both his sleepovers at grandma and grandpas. He is pulling himself up and getting ready to walk. He loves his aunts and uncles, was the happiest baby I ever knew, and is absolutely adorable!

AUBREY and her boyfriend, Ben, will have a baby boy this fall as well. They own a home in Holdingford and Aubrey has been working at a nursing home for quite some time. Being grandparents has been fun, just like everyone says! It's true!!

Time flies when you are having fun! We are incredibly blessed and look forward to new adventures as  the different chapters of life unfold. We are joyful to serve a Great High Priest whose name is Love! We have hope in the Lord, and nothing else! So glad to offer this update!! It is fun to go back and see the archive of posts, they are a treasure. God Bless!
