Frump

Bump on a log, kinda what it's been. Oh keeping on the go from breakfast to din, just haven't gone to the Y or gotten any Zumba in. Probably since this summer or early fall, luckily today I ended that stall! I went to Zumba and remembered how much I love single single double! Something about the weather and the drive makes me want to hibernate. Not to mention it can be such an event getting everyone out the door. This summer I got much backlash from a couple choice spectrum sprouts about not wanting to go to the Y, but my break got so long I contemplated stopping the donations. Luke wanted to start up and I am glad I went today too. Plus we took all the kids swimming, well one sprout is at respite this weekend. A good time had by all and I am not even sore yet. It was kinda like riding a bike! .................................................................................................................... Lillie wears a "bimpoop." Naomi's days of 2-6" rats nests are numbered. Big inventors fair projects to do, not really looking forward to heading that up. Good Saturday started with sweat.

Annual Labor Day Weekend Trip

The Screaming Eagle Zipline is a blast, this year Libby and Reany were able to ride too!!
Mom and Adam zipping, weeeeeeeeeee!
Libby and Reany zipping, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
This is what our cabin looks like, and there are two bunk beds on each side and then two singles in front. We have such a fun time at camp!
The kids love the water and they get to paddleboat and fish as much as they want to. We also do fun things like crafts, games, group activities, chapel, volleyball, soccer, and much much more. The girls this year did the polar plunge and were getting up each morning and jumping in the lake! Libby got a prize for doing it each morning.
Camp Lebanon is the best place on Earth and we love going every year! With our special family it serves us so well to be there and have such awesome opportunities as a family. It is something we will forever do and expect our kids to do too, so here is is in writing for future inlaws- we have Labor Day weekend etched in stone:)

Naomi Gladys now 4!

Naomi turned 4 on December 26, 2013. She wanted a Dora and Hello Kitty cake, being the day after Christmas it wasn't homeade. She loved it just the same.
Lillie loved it too, we love birthdays around here and any excuse to eat cake!!
Showing off her new outfit, and she got a music bracelet too, such fun to be spoiled!
Princess in style! Happy Birthday Naomi! You are such a sweet and amazing daughter. You are very creative and thoughtful. You are a great helper and love helping with the baby. You are doing a good job in gymnastics and dance. You have great ideas and love making crafts. Your latest craft is making rings and bracelets from paper, such a generous girl. You surprise us with your big words and melt our hearts with your tender smile. You are a joy to the family and we love you to the moon and back. Have a great year Naomi, as you already are excited to turn 5:) Don't rush it pumpkin!

Naomi rides the bus, family pic, big kids...

Naomi rides the big bus!! After her preschool schreening, they decided that Naomi could work on some articulation (her th's are really cute though,) and she gets to go to preschool two mornings a week. She gets to ride the bus with the big kids in the mornings and then gets a van ride home a few hours later. She is growing up so quickly!!
Sister Love, Sweetest Love, Snuggle Love
And here is the tribe! Minus the teenage girls:( Their mother has decided that she enjoys playing games more than we do, so we are at a stand still right now. I have been thrown under the bus too many times to fix it, there it be.
Libby and Noah clean up pretty good, aren't they getting big!

Matthew Paul is now 14...10/2/13

What a great year for Matthew! He had a full year home, reclaimed his birth given name, and has made leaps and bounds of progress. Happy Birthday Matthew! You are genuine and kindhearted boy, with vision and determination. You are an excellent reader and it is great to see you so interested in mechanics. You are understanding and resilient, you have overcome such tragedy and dispair. You are a shining star with your funny laugh and big heart. You mean well, you work hard, and we are forever grateful to have you home. You do a great job in soccer and floor hockey and we look forward to watch you grow and learn more and more!

Noah Curtis is 6, 9/28/13

My baby boy is 6!!! He is such a delightful spunky child, full of energy and life! Happy Birthday Noah! Wishing you a great year of learning new things. You are so smart, funny, and kind. You are independent, insightful, and talented. Like Dad, everyting you do, you do well. You were top in the state for BMX biking, you are bringing home 1nd and 2nd place wrestling titles, you are excelling in your Spanish and reading, you love babies and animals. You have a bright future and we pray that God uses you for great things, because you are so special in so many ways. Keep up the good work buddy, we love you!!

David Andrew Turns 16 September 24, 2013

Birthday Boys!
Sweet Sixteen! Happy Birthday David! You are an amazing young man and we love you very much. This year as a high schooler, you are showing your eagar spirit to catch up, do well, and succeed in life. You are a hard worker and love to help others. We are happy to see the progress you continue to make and love watching you grow into a man, a Godly man. Thing David enjoys are playing games and listening to music on his iPod, cooking and baking, and helping with the littles. David looks forward to going back to camp to work this summer, he rocked his first year of soccer and will likely floor hockey he is in right now. He has been studying up on the driving laws in hopes to get his permit. He is a really neat boy and we are blessed to call him our son.

wow! catch up time

As I was deleting the many bad pictures from the camera before loading them to the computer, I wondered and assumed that I had made birthday posts for my fall boys. Shame on momma! In my defense, the last posting, over 8 weeks ago, was when we learned of and got a placement of a newborn. They always change things up on a household, expecially without been prepping and planning for the addition! We have been surviving, and they (a 7 year old too,) are gone for a couple days and here I am. The lesson here is that my eight are not so tough afterall:) and that we will really enjoy the baby that we ARE preparing for this July. BOOM, BABY ANNOUNCEMENT. As life goes on I have become less and less fond of the social networking sites and will likely not be making much commotion about having another baby. My heart goes out to so many grieving miscarriages and infertility. This will be our last bio child, my 5th c-section, and we are excited! Feb. 10 we find out who will be sharing rooms with who, basically if Noah will ever get a roomate;) Catch Up postst to come: 4 birhdays and then some
