Camp Lebanon, only an hour or so away from us will always be on our travel plans. Family camp is an awesome opportunity that we cherish for making memories with our kids. We also attended Trout Lake a couple years too; however, as the kids get older it gets even more expensive. We don't need the horseback riding or excessive gourmet food. Lebanon has ample activities and we just love it!!
Here are the top eight reasons to go to family camp. The next ten would be:1- there are Bible study classes for all ages
2- there are great songs
3- we all get cozy in a cabin
4- there are fun games like volleyball, soccer, dodge-ball
5- they have kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats
6- they have crafts like paper-making
7- being on the lake is priceless
8- there are great families there with a common interest
to raise their children to love the Lord
9- it costs less than an average hotel would alone
and...drum-roll...
10- it is all inclusive with three great meal served each day!!

Dad and Adam in line at the canteen. One afternoon, Libby came to me and asked if she could have some money (they sell yummy lollies for a quarter!) because the antique store was opening soon. I said, "what?" and I had heard her correctly. So cute, but of course I enlightened her to the name of the little candy shop, canteen.
