Storm Chased... one family many stories

Seems kinda funny
but last Saturday,
was a busy day.
I got the privilege of hosting
my good friend Karla's wedding shower
and party.
So what to do with so many kids?

Some people have a hard time
finding excellent care for their kids.
Not us.
People literally take numbers to
get dibs on our crew (wink wink)

when the siren blares and
shelter is needed
these are
our
true stories:

I
was in Minneapolis at a studio with
a dozen fabulous ladies in
formal wear, locked out of the basement.
On the phone with Eva, trying to figure
out when it was safe to go.

Luke was on the lake, didn't listen to
the momma saying the storm
was coming. Thought it was funny
to the the last boat floating...
until the wall cloud was chasing them at
65mph and they barely made it
to shore.

The boys and Reany were at Hilden's and were distracted by
movies and play in the basement
by necessary location.

Naomi was with the comfort of Steph W.
taking shelter in Grandma's
basement.

Libby was with Grandma Linda
at Como Pavillion for a play and then
sheltered in their storage room with
hundreds of people, from the orchestra
to a wedding party!

Aubrey and Lexi were in the bathrooms at
the campground they were staying at
with their mother.

So, my friends, that is record numbers of storm stories!!
And we each lived to talk about it!!
Thanks for everyone
who kept
my
babies
safe!
